Biesta highlights the unique position of the school as the place where the new generation is given the time to meet the world and meet themselves in relation to the world.

Gert Biesta is currently Professor of Public Education in the Centre for Public Education and Pedagogy, Maynooth University, Ireland, and Professor of Educational Theory and Pedagogy at the University of Edinburgh, UK.

The conference was hosted by the seven arts educations under the Ministry of Culture in Danmark and took place at The Royal Danish Academy of Music on October 29th, 2022.
